The MagNIMBUS is an ultra-sensitive, drone-mounted magnetometer system designed for high-precision aerial surveys in demanding applications such as UXO detection, archaeological mapping, buried-infrastructure location, environmental surveying and mineral exploration. Powered by the QuSpin Gen-2 atomic total-field magnetometer sensor, the MagNIMBUS delivers exceptional resolution even at very low altitudes — enabling operators to fly with minimal sensor-to-ground clearance without compromising safety or data quality. 


With a foldable mount and integrated mounting hardware, the MagNIMBUS is built to integrate smoothly into enterprise drones such as the DJI M350 RTK or M300 RTK. Its design enables rapid deployment, true terrain-following capability and streamlined drone survey workflows — making it an ideal choice for professional UAV-based magnetic field surveys

The MagNIMBUS is designed to mount on enterprise UAV platforms capable of stable low-altitude flight and terrain-following, such as DJI M350 RTK or M300 RTK. Ensure your drone can manage the sensor-arm configuration and maintain precise altitude over complex terrain.

Thanks to its foldable mount and advanced sensor design, the MagNIMBUS enables flights with sensor-to-ground clearance from only a few dozen centimetres (≈ 0.2-0.5 m) — particularly useful for detecting small ferrous objects in vegetation or uneven terrain.

The MagNIMBUS excels in areas requiring ultra-sensitive magnetic detection — including UXO/land-mine surveys, locating buried metallic infrastructure (pipes, cables), archaeology (sub-surface metal features) and geological/mineral exploration mapping. Its high sample rate and low altitude capability make it especially effective for compact ferrous target detection.
