The DayCor® micROM HD is an ultra-light, bi-spectral UAV payload designed for daylight corona and partial discharge (PD) detection on high-voltage transmission and substation assets. Using Ofil’s proven solar-blind UV technology, the camera isolates corona emissions below 280 nm, giving inspection teams clear, actionable PD data in real time directly from the drone video feed.

Built for UAV workflows, micROM HD combines a high-sensitivity UV sensor + HD visible camera in one compact payload. Operators get a precise UV-over-visible overlay, enabling pinpoint fault identification on insulators, fittings, conductors, bushings, and more — all without climbing, live-line exposure, or time-intensive ground patrols.
