The Laser Falcon 2 is a precision methane-only detection sensor designed for drone-mounted applications. Using infrared absorption spectroscopy (wavelength ~1.65 µm), the system detects methane presence by comparing reflected laser light against a reference cell and outputs a concentration measure (ppm×m). It integrates with UAVs and the UgCS software platform for real-time airborne leak screening.
