Why this configuration
The Matrice 4TD carries a radiometric thermal sensor alongside wide, medium-tele and tele cameras, so a single flight captures both temperature data and high-zoom visual detail. Four batteries keep one aircraft on task through a full inspection route with hot-swaps between sorties. Because the 4TD is the dock-compatible variant, the same aircraft can later be moved into a DJI Dock 3 for scheduled autonomous thermal patrols.
