FAQ

Common questions

What's the best payload for methane leak detection?

+

SPH Engineering Laser Falcon Plus TDLAS for sensitive, point-source localization; FluX Aero sniffer for area screening. Both integrate with DJI Matrice 350 / 400.

Can drones inspect flare stacks while in service?

+

Yes. We use DJI Matrice 400 with the Zenmuse H30T radiometric thermal payload at safe standoff distance to capture flare-tip and crown integrity without shutdown.

Do you support OGMP 2.0 / federal methane reporting?

+

Yes. Our gas-detection drone surveys produce georeferenced datasets that feed OGMP Level 4/5 reporting and ECCC regulatory submissions.

Can Boston Dynamics Spot operate in Class 1 Div 2 zones?

+

Spot itself is not Cl1Div2 rated. We design routes that stay in non-classified areas while still inspecting most facility assets visually and thermally. For classified zones, we use intrinsically safe portable instruments paired with drone overhead.
