Services / Drone-as-a-Service · Remote Operations Center

We supply the drones. We fly them. You get the data.

Remote Robotic's Remote Operations Center is a fully managed drone-as-a-service program for Canadian industrial operators — energy, mining, oil & gas, construction, and multi-site security. We own the aircraft, docks, payloads, and logistics — and our licensed pilots fly every mission under SFOC. You subscribe to the outputs: scheduled inspections, thermal orthos, methane reports, and LiDAR point clouds.

What's included

One subscription. Zero hardware to own.

Every aircraft, dock, sensor, SIM, and licensed pilot in the loop is provided and maintained by Remote Robotic. You receive deliverables — not invoices for batteries and props.

Drone-as-a-service

We supply the aircraft, docks, payloads, and ground infrastructure — you receive the imagery, video, and inspection data on a schedule that fits your operations.

Turnkey deployment

Site survey, SFOC filing, dock installation, network commissioning, and ongoing maintenance handled end-to-end by our team.

Pilot-on-demand (BVLOS-ready)

Transport Canada–licensed RPAS pilots fly every mission remotely from our Canadian operations center, under our SFOC and insurance.

24/7 fleet monitoring

Continuous status, weather-hold logic, and missed-mission escalation for autonomous docking systems we deploy across mining, energy, oil & gas, and construction sites.

Scheduled industrial inspections

Recurring corridor patrols, stockpile volumetrics, methane sweeps, corona scans, and facility rounds delivered on a calendar your operations team controls.

Data delivery & QA

Post-flight ingest, sensor QA, orthomosaic / 3D / thermal / LiDAR processing, and delivery into your GIS, asset management, or historian.

Compliance & chain-of-custody

Flight logs, SFOC compliance records, and tamper-evident chain-of-custody documentation retained for audit, regulatory, and insurance review.

OEM-tier hardware support

Direct engineering escalation for in-flight anomalies, firmware issues, and rapid swap of hardware we own and maintain.

Best fit

Who buys drone-as-a-service?

  • Energy & utilities operators needing scheduled corona, thermal, and transmission patrols
  • Mining & surveying teams running stockpile volumetrics, slope monitoring, and LiDAR
  • Oil & gas operators with methane sweeps, flare-stack inspection, and facility rounds
  • Construction GCs and EPCs needing weekly RTK site capture and BIM updates
  • — Private security firms running autonomous perimeter patrols across multi-site portfolios
  • — Pilot programs evaluating dock-based autonomy before committing to capital purchase
  • — Customers who would rather subscribe to data than buy and maintain a fleet

Coverage

24 / 7 / 365

Staffed by licensed RPAS pilots operating under our Transport Canada SFOC framework and commercial UAV insurance. Tiered SLAs available from best-effort to guaranteed dispatch. Service points across Mississauga, Ottawa, Calgary, Burnaby, and Montréal.

FAQ

Drone-as-a-service, answered

Do we have to buy the drones?
No. Remote Robotic owns, maintains, insures, and replaces all hardware — aircraft, docks, payloads, networking, and ground infrastructure. You subscribe to the data, not the equipment.
Who flies the aircraft?
Transport Canada–certified RPAS pilots on our staff fly every mission from our Remote Operations Center under our SFOC. You never need to hire, license, or train an internal pilot team.
What do we actually receive?
Whatever your workflow needs: scheduled inspection imagery, thermal and RGB orthomosaics, 3D models, LiDAR point clouds, methane reports, change-detection between visits, or live video pushed to your operations console.
Is this drone-as-a-service or a managed-fleet contract?
Both — depending on your model. We offer fully outsourced drone-as-a-service (DaaS) where we own everything, and managed-fleet contracts where you own the hardware and we operate it.
Which industries does ROC serve?
ROC is a standalone industrial program. We deliver scheduled and on-demand aerial and ground-robotics data for energy & utilities, mining & surveying, oil & gas, and construction, plus private security firms running autonomous perimeter patrols across multi-site portfolios.

Outsource the fleet. Keep the mission.

Tell us your mission profile, coverage area, and data outputs. We'll scope a drone-as-a-service contract that lands in weeks, not quarters.
