DJI has published the AP100 with EASA C5/C6 and UK CAA UK5/UK6 compliance. In Canada, near-people and over-people operations require a manufacturer RPAS Safety Assurance declaration accepted by Transport Canada. We're tracking that filing and will fulfill Canadian orders as soon as the configuration is listed — you can reserve a unit now and lock in delivery position.

DJI AP100 Parachute — a single-use emergency safety system for the DJI Matrice 400, enabling EASA C5/C6 and CAA UK5/UK6 operations, including flights over populated urban areas (STS-01) and BVLOS (STS-02). Features independent power, full-link redundancy, and both manual and automatic deployment with a response time under 600 ms and a stabilized descent rate below 5 m/s.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the DJI Matrice 400. Connects via the aircraft's E-Port V2 (E4 port). Includes a gimbal safety tether to reduce the risk of payload detachment during deployment (not compatible with third-party payloads or brackets).

Important Notes

  • The parachute is a single-use safety device and must be completely replaced after deployment.
  • DJI recommends retiring and replacing the unit 3 years after activation, regardless of self-check results.
  • FTS deployment via DJI FlightHub 2 and Geocaging support are limited to EU/EEA member states, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Serbia, and Georgia.
