Can I use a tethered drone for a one-off event?+
Yes. Tethered systems are routinely deployed for festivals, sporting events, political conventions and emergency response. Remote Robotic offers short-term rental and operated deployments.
Do tethered drones work in bad weather?+
Most enterprise tethered platforms operate in higher winds than free-flight UAVs (typically 50+ km/h sustained) and continue through light rain. Lightning and severe weather still ground the system.
Which is right for my program?+
Most mature security programs run a small fleet of free-flight UAVs for patrol and pursuit, plus one or two tethered systems for high-value, long-duration overwatch. We can scope a hybrid program through a PoC.
