The Geometrics MagArrow Mk2 is an advanced, self-contained UAV-deployed magnetometer system designed to transform aerial magnetic surveys. Engineered for enterprise drones, the MagArrow Mk2 brings high-precision magnetics, GPS-synchronised logging and WiFi data transfer in a lightweight 1-kg form factor and is ideal for UXO detection, buried infrastructure mapping, archaeological surveys, and geological exploration.
Thanks to its 1 000 Hz sampling rate, 0.005 nT/√Hz sensitivity, and wide operating range (20,000-100,000 nT), the MagArrow Mk2 allows operators to fly at higher speeds (up to 10 m/s) whilst capturing data every 1 cm — significantly improving survey efficiency while maintaining quality.
Its “drone-agnostic” design means it can be mounted on most enterprise UAV platforms with as little as ~1 kg payload capacity, making integration with your existing assets straightforward. Plus, its internal GPS, IMU, micro-SD storage and WiFi interface mean no physical tethering to the UAV — minimal setup, maximum flexibility

MagArrow Mk2 magnetometer FAQ
The MagArrow Mk2 is designed to operate on UAV platforms with a payload capacity of around 1 kg or more. For best performance (especially in low‐altitude surveys), using a drone with stable altitude hold and terrain-following capability is recommended to maintain optimal sensor height above ground.
Thanks to the 1 000 Hz sample rate, the MagArrow Mk2 can capture data every 1 cm at flight speeds up to approximately 10 m/s. This allows for faster survey lines without compromising on data resolution, giving a major efficiency boost in large-area or demanding surveys.
The MagArrow Mk2 is highly suited for operations such as geophysical mapping (minerals, geology), UXO/landmine detection, archaeological feature detection, and reclaimed/disused infrastructure surveys. Its high sensitivity and drone-friendly form make it an excellent choice for missions requiring fine-scale magnetic anomaly detection.
