The Silvus StreamCaster MINI 5200 (SM5200) is an ultra-compact, full-performance 2×2 MIMO MANET radio engineered for platforms where size, weight, and power constraints matter — without sacrificing capability. Despite its slim footprint, the MINI 5200 delivers the same advanced MN-MIMO waveform used across Silvus' 4000-series radios, enabling high-bandwidth, low-latency, and highly resilient mesh networking across air, ground, and dismounted applications.
Designed for next-generation unmanned systems, robotic platforms, and wearable operator kits, the MINI 5200 provides reliable connectivity in complex and contested RF environments. With up to 2 W output power (and 4 W effective with TX beamforming), it supports long-range performance, real-time video transport, telemetry links, and robust command-and-control operations.
Its flexible I/O interfaces, compact architecture, and compatibility with the entire StreamCaster ecosystem make the MINI 5200 an ideal drop-in radio for UAVs, UGVs, sensor payloads, tactical communications kits, and embedded software-defined systems — especially when every gram of weight and cubic millimetre of space matters.

StreamCaster 5200 FAQ
The SM5200 delivers full 2×2 MIMO MANET capabilities — including 100 Mbps throughput, mesh networking, and EW-resilient comms — in a remarkably compact, low-profile package perfect for SWaP-constrained platforms or wearable use.
Yes — it uses the same proprietary MN-MIMO waveform as the 4000-series, so it remains fully compatible with larger 4000/4200-series radios for mesh interoperability.
Use cases where size/weight/power constraints matter — e.g. light UAVs/ UGVs, wearable operator kits, dismounted missions, embedded sensor platforms, or any application needing a compact MANET radio with full mesh capabilities.
