DJI TB100C Tethered Battery FAQ

Yes — while it retains the high-capacity core of the TB100 line, the TB100C adds dedicated tether-interface ports and is optimized for continuous-power operations (e.g., fixed-site comms, lighting, or long-loiter missions) rather than standard battery swap cycles.

With the TB100C connected to a certified tether-power system and ground station, the UAV can maintain flight indefinitely (subject to platform endurance, motors, props and tether specification) — thus it removes the typical “battery swap” constraint entirely.

Charging is supported from +5 °C to +45 °C. Discharging is rated as low as −20 °C and up to +75 °C. Use of DJI tether/cable power systems is mandatory to maintain warranty and safe operation.
